How do I Order?
Ordering our CNC Bat Shaving or Ring Removal Services are a simple as 1-2-3. Once you place your order, we will email you all the required shipping information. You simply box your bat/s and ship them to us. When you get them back they'll be HOT and READY for you to drop bombs. We recommend that you email us before sending your bat in to ensure we can shave your model. Not all bats have rings so it's always best to email us 1st just to make sure. Many of the newer models are not able to be shaving or are not recommended to be shaved since they crack quickly after shaving is performed. Ultimately it's your personal choice. We typically require 2-3 business days for the shaving work once we receive your bat/s. We do offer several return shipping options at checkout if you need it shipped back quickly.

Why should I get my bat rolled and shaved?
Shaving is the best way to get your bat to performance at its highest possible level. Typically those players who are playing in leagues with no bat rules, home run derbies or showcases will choose to go with shaving. On many bats we’ve tested there have been distance improvements of 30-50ft by shaving. Of course this makes the use of this bat illegal for use in any sanctioned events that has rules against the use of such product or alteration. We suggest that you check with your local league in regards to use of shaved bats. For those of you that cannot use shaved bats, then we suggest that you purchase our Heated Rolling Service for composite bats or for Alloy bats, we offer our NEW Barrel Optimization Service. This will still get you increases in the 30ft range (at the high levels) but it also ensures you won’t exceed the designed certified performance levels approved by the governing bodies.

Why should I roll my bat as well?
Over 20+ years we’ve found that in order to eliminate the small break in process after shaving, it is best to get your bat rolled at the same time you’re getting it shaved. Simply put, shaving thins the walls of the bat to improve flexing but since the bat still have MANY layers that still need to be broke in that rolling will then speed up that process as well.

Can you explain Ring Removal?
We get this question asked all the time. Many manufacturers have adopted the process of installing restrictor rings, bushings, tubes etc.. inside the barrel of their bats to limit the wall flex. By doing this, they are able to limit the wall flex and overall performance of the bats. By removing this ring, you allow the walls to flex more and this equals higher exit velocity and greater performance.

What is the benefit of Polymer Coating?
Our Polymer Coating is applied to the inside of the bat once it has been shaved. It has been proven to help minimize the amount of durability loss that inherently happens during the shaving process. One other benefit on Composite bats, is that it helps encapsulate the inner wall to prevent/minimize any composite flaking that occurs over time. We highly recommend adding this to your shaving service if you're choosing the aggressive or hot shaving levels.

Can Baseball bats be shaved as well?
Most certainly, we can shave BBCOR, USA or USSSA baseball bats as well. The designs of these bats make rolling and shaving even more important than ever now. Whether you're looking to send your bat to us or purchase a new bat already rolled and or shaved, we are here to help. Bottom line is, you can shave ANY bat that has a removeable endcap. On Alloy bats, we recommend using our Barrel Optimization Service coupled with a Normal Shave. This will provide maximum performance without greatly reducing your durability. Composite bats you can select Normal, Aggressive or Hot Shaving level depending on your needs.

Can Alloy Bats be shaved?
Most certainly,  you will find others who say you can't. Truth is, ANY bat can be shaved as long as the endcap is removable BUT a shaved Alloy bat will not last as long as a shaved Composite. If you're getting your alloy bat done, you should ONLY get the normal level. Normally speaking, most shaved alloy bats should only be used for a Homerun Derby or showcase event. No batting practice for your shaved Alloy.

Do you compression test bats before and after to verify maximum results?
We compression test ALL bats before and after our heated rolling process. This ensures your bat will perform at its highest level WITHOUT exceeding the certified performance levels. Please add a note on your order if you desire to have the before and after results included with your return shipment. We do not include the compression results with each bat since 99% of customers really have no idea what the numbers mean.

What Shaving Level should I choose?
We offer 3 levels of shaving. Normal shaving level is a balanced level of good performance and good durability (Approximately 10% loss in durability). Aggressive shaving (better performance but greater likely hood of cracking in 800 hits or less) and Freakin HOT level (This is the highest level possible when shaving). With the Freakin HOT level you may only get a few hundred hits before breakage. We recommend the normal level to most customers since the cost of bats nowadays is quite expensive but if money is not a concern, feel free to select one of our higher shaving levels.
