Please note, on bats that utilize restrictor rings, those rings will be removed during the shaving process.

This service which consists of modified Rolling process, Heating followed by a rapid cooling process as well as a few NEW proprietary techniques that routinely offer average performance gains on new bats in the 10-20ft range for most Alloy Barrel Bats. These gains are roughly 30% higher than what can be achieved with traditional Heated Bat Rolling. In addition to increased distance, you will have a larger sweet spot as well as increased durability. Adding this service to your new bat purchase ensures you will have the highest performing bat right out of the wrapper.

Heated Bat Rolling Details
We had been experimenting with Heated Bat Rolling for several years and never really found too much benefit with the process. With the increased need for pre-heating to get the newer bats to properly respond to the rolling process we decided it was necessary to revisit the heating process and see if there were any new benefits. What we found was that with the current designs used in most Softball and Baseball bats that by pre-heating these bats prior to rolling we were seeing much better results. The thicker walls and different composite makeup has made rolling these bats a challenge. It is very difficult to get the walls to flex enough to get them to break in thoroughly. By heating these bats first we found it much easier and in fact we are seeing distance increases closer to that earlier models. In addition to new Adult baseball bats, we are finding that most manufacturers are now changing the design of the newer Slowpitch Softball bats. They are using less durable paint and they are also using a new spiral wrap design that causes bats to actually unravel as they exceed the designed performance levels. By heating your bat before rolling then you virtually eliminate this issue.
